Please read these terms before booking. They explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you, so your trip to Jaisalmer goes smoothly.
1. About These Terms
These terms apply to all taxi services, desert safaris, tour packages and other services booked with Jaisalmer Cab and Safari (GSTIN 08IJGPS5872D1ZO), whether through this website, WhatsApp, phone or email. By making a booking, you agree to these terms on behalf of everyone travelling in your group.
2. Bookings & Confirmation
- Sending an enquiry or quote request does not confirm a booking.
- A booking is confirmed only after we receive the advance payment and send you a confirmation on WhatsApp or email with your trip details.
- Please check your confirmation carefully and tell us straight away if anything is incorrect.
3. Prices & Payment
- Quotes are for the dates, group size and services shown, and may change if any of these change.
- Unless your quote says otherwise, vehicle prices include fuel and driver charges. Monument entry fees, camera fees, meals not listed as included, and personal expenses are not included.
- A small advance is required to confirm your booking. The remaining amount is payable during the trip, as agreed at the time of booking.
- Applicable taxes are charged as per Indian law.
4. Itineraries & Changes
Timings in our itineraries are approximate. We may need to change the order of visits, timings or routes because of weather, traffic, road conditions, closures or events outside our control, and will always try to offer a suitable alternative.
Visits to border areas, including Longewala and Tanot Mata Temple, depend on permissions and restrictions set by the authorities, which can change at short notice. If access is restricted, we will change the plan and let you know.
5. Your Responsibilities
- Carry a valid government photo ID for every traveller – it may be checked at hotels, camps and border areas.
- Be ready at the agreed pickup time; long delays may shorten your sightseeing.
- Look after your personal belongings, which remain your responsibility throughout the trip.
- Treat drivers, staff and local communities with respect, and follow local laws and customs.
- You are responsible for any damage to vehicles or property caused by you or your group.
6. Desert Activities & Safety
Camel safaris, jeep safaris, quad biking, parasailing and similar activities carry some natural risk. Please follow all safety instructions from our team and activity staff, and tell us in advance about any medical condition, pregnancy or mobility need. You take part at your own discretion, and staff may refuse an activity if they feel it is unsafe.
7. Hotels, Camps & Other Providers
Some parts of your trip, such as hotels, desert camps and certain activities, are provided by independent partners. We choose them carefully, but they are responsible for their own services and facilities.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations, refunds and changes are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for loss, injury, delay or extra cost caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural events, strikes, government actions, road or border closures, or the acts of independent providers. Our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking.
10. Use of This Website
We work to keep the information on this website accurate, but tour details, inclusions and prices may change. Photos are for illustration. Please see our Disclaimer for more.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to your booking.
